• My dog was bit by a dog about the same size in near the right back paw near his toenails and on his leg. The cut does not look deep but my dog is limping and whimpering. Not sure if he needs stitches or not.

    Hi Naomi, I recommend that you take your dog into see a veterinarian as soon as possible if you have not already done so. The limping and whimpering are signs of pain which may mean that there is a deeper injury than just the cut. Also, the bite injury could easily become infected. Your vet can recommend the treatment that will be best for him after they have examined him.
