This behavior can also be a dominance type behavior or even play behavior for some pets. There are some behavior modification treatments that can be done to help with this. The ones that will work best for your pet will depend on a few different factors including your dog’s breed, age, and overall health as well as the trigger for the behavior. Your vet can get some more information from you and then work with you on a behavior modification plan that is specific to your pet.
