• My dog has a runny nose and has been sneezing since Thursday. She has a comprehensive appt on Oct 18. What can I do for her in the meantime?

    Hi Tracey,
I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about this. The runny nose and sneezing can be a sign of something like allergies or a mild upper respiratory infection but they could be a sign of a more severe underlying issue. Depending on the severity of her symptoms and the color of the nasal discharge, this may be something that you can just watch until your appointment. If the signs are more severe, your vet may recommend that you bring her in sooner. If you see any other symptoms like coughing, lethargy, eye discharge, or not wanting to eat, you should take her into see a vet as soon as possible.
