• My dog had diarrhea twice last night and one time last Saturday. What do you recommend me to do? Everything else is normal. He eats and drinks normal. No sign of change in behavior.

    Hi Duangphat,
If the diarrhea has continued, I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian. Diarrhea that lasts longer than 12 hours or that is recurrent is concerning. There can be a few different causes for this incluiding infection, intestinal parasites, inflammation of the GI tract, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the causes of the diarrhea after they have examined him. They may recommend some lab tests to help diagnose or rule out certain diseases. The treatment that he needs will depend on the underlying cause and severity of his symptoms.
