• My dog, Chloe, was boarded at a Petsmart Pets Hotel for a week and we picked her up on Monday. Every since we've brought her home she has had diarrhea and has been pooping in odd places i.e, her crate, on the carpets upstairs. This is very odd for her. Do i need to bring her in for an appointment?

    Hi Jasmine,
I recommend that you take Chloe into see a veterinarian as soon as possible if you have not already done so. Diarrhea that lasts longer than 24 hours is concerning and it is not likely to resolve without treatment. There can be many different causes for her symptoms and the stress of boarding or a food change can sometimes lead to diarrhea. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her diarrhea and the treatment that she needs after they have examined her.
