Hi Kristen, if the area is still bleeding or if there is redness or infection near the cut I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian as soon as possible. The concern with an injury on a toe is that it can easily become infected. If that occurs then it is important to have him seen by a vet. They can recommend the care he needs after they have examined him. I is best to clean the area with some warm water. Peroxide has the potential to cause tissue damage if not used appropriately.
