Hi Jean, I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about these questions. A change in litter may not be needed if he is just getting neutered. However, this will depend on the individual pet, the way the surgery is performed, and the vet’s individual preference. Your vet knows your pet and they can give you the best advice on this and also on when it will be best to switch him from kitten to adult food.
