Unfortunately there is no way to know for sure whether something that dogs eat will pass through their system or not. It is important if your puppy does have a blockage that he sees his veterinarian immediately. The longer a blockage is in place the higher the risk that he will have intestinal damage from the blockage. Things to watch for include vomiting, diarrhea or not passing stool, lack of appetite, lethargy, or pain in his belly. If you see any of these signs he needs to see his veterinarian immediately.
