• Leia’s left front paw pad became red (I thought from the ice salt) so I put neosporin and hydrocortisone cream in it with coban. It looks better than it did three days ago, but she keeps licking the coban and surrounding area. I haven’t been walking her to keep her off the paw and I’ve been putting her boots on when I take her out. Today after doggy daycare she is limping. There is no odor or drainage, but I’m concerned. What can I do to help her?

    Hi Shaban,
I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. Limping on top of the red spot that you are describing is concerning. There can be a few different causes for this including infection, injury, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms and the treatment that she needs after they have examined Leia.
