Hi Mary, I recommend that you talk to your local veterinarian or a local trainer about this issue. While biting while excited is sometimes seen it is important to address the issue to keep everyone safe. To treat this it is important to identify the underlying trigger for the biting and then design a behavior modification plan that is unique to her. Your vet or a local trainer should be able to help you with this. If needed your vet can also prescribe some medication that can help with the behavior modification.
