• I was just reviewing some labs for my dog from back in January. My daughter brought up the fact that we never looked but nevertheless, she tested positive for Ehrlichia canis/Ehrlichiaewingii ELISA, is this anything that I should be worried about/treating. She appears symptom free at this time but I was just curious.

    Hi Mark,
I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about this question. A positive test for Ehrlichia can just be from exposure to the disease and not from clinical infection. However, this could also be something to be concerned about. Your vet knows your pet’s overall health history and will be able to give you the best advice on this.
