• I’ve noticed that my Chow has been biting her dew claw. And from the looks of it , it seems to be a little irritated. Should I be concerned? She won’t let us touch her and I’m getting worried

    Hi Emilie,

I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. Biting at a dewclaw along with the sensitivity that you are describing can be caused by a few different things including injury, infection, allergies, or an underlying medical issue. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms and the treatment she needs after they have examined her.
