• I noticed a lump on my golden boys ear flap. The lump wasn’t there earlier and is this something I should be concerned about. I will be calling his vet Monday.

    Hi Margaret,
I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian if you have not already done so. There can be a few different causes for a lump on the ear. These include infection, a hematoma or blood between the skin layers, or even a mass. Your vet will be able to talk to you more about the cause of the lump and the treatment that he needs after they have examined him.
