Unfortunately, eating poop is something many puppies do. If you have not already done so you should make an appointment with your veterinarian to have your puppy’s stool checked for parasites. If that has been done and no parasites were found you should go outside with your puppy so you can distract him and pick up the stool right away. Poop eating can also be caused by poor nutritional status, a medical condition or living in an unclean environment. There are some additives you can purchase to put on the food but results are highly variable. If the problem persists despite what I have recommended please consult your veterinarian.
