• I just picked up my 2 year old dog from vet. He has his teeth cleaned and a tooth extraction. I brought him home and gave him a little bit of soft food. I took him outside and he had diarrhea. Probably went 5 times outside. Should I be worried? They said he shouldn’t have diarrhea or vomiting. He seems ok though.

    Hi Adriana,

If the diarrhea had continued I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian. Diarrhea can sometimes be caused by stress but this will usually resolve itself within a couple of hours. If the diarrhea has persisted there may be a different underlying cause that likely needs treatment. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of the diarrhea and the treatment he needs after they have examined him.
