• I brought Corbin in for a visit possibly a week ago. We were not really able to determine any real issues. we ended up at the 24 hr vet one night last week. they gave some pain meds. He has not taken them in about 4 days. We also are trying the VetriScience 880 pills .he has been eating/drinking as well. We have the pill pockets to put all the meds in. He will not take any meds with those or hidden in any treat ,cheese, peanut butter. nothing. He will either refuse to take what you offer or he will eat around it and spit the pill back out. He seems to be ok without the pain meds , he is sleeping a little better and not having those panic type breathing attacks. My real question is what can I do to get him to take his meds other then try to do it physically holding his mouth? suggestions??

    Hi Steve,
I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about this question. You have already tried all of the treats that I usually recommend. There may be a different form of the medication like a liquid that may be able to be used in his case. However, this will depend on the individual medication and what exactly is being treated. Your vet knows your pet’s medical history so they will be best able to work with you to make sure that Corbin gets the treatment that he needs.
