• I've noticed that Kai's eyes are sometimes red and teary. Doesn't scratch them but wondering if it could be allergies and if there is anything you would recommend that he can take for it Also is it possible for a dog to get a sunburn around his mouth where he doesn't have any fur and anything you recommend for it

    Hi Rajinder,
I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about these concerns. Red and teary eyes can be from allergies but there can be other causes for this as well. If it is something that occurs often it may need treatment. Your vet can get some more information from you and recommend what is best for him.
It is possible for dogs to get sunburned. Especially on light skin in hairless areas of the body. Sunscreen can be used but the concern with it being around his mouth is him licking it off. This can potentially cause toxicity so it is important to talk to your vet about the individual risks. If they think that sunscreen is needed the can recommend that best formulation for your pet.
