Hi Anne, I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian as soon as possible even if that is not your usual vet. The coughing and labored breathing are concerning especially with her history of a heart murmur. If these symptoms worsen or if you feel that she is struggling to breathe, this should be thought of as an emergency and she should be taken into see a veterinarian immediately. Your vet can recommend the treatment that she needs after they have examined her.
