Eight week old puppies need to potty often, every couple of hours in fact, usually after eating, napping, or playing. Which yes, is pretty much all the time. Pugs are very sociable dogs and make it known that they are unhappy when left by themselves. She will most likely become more comfortable with her crate, but may never be completely satisfied in it especially when she knows you are home. Crates are usually used mostly when the owner is not home and for short periods of time. It is recommended that you take your puppy out to potty often, and only use the crate when necessary. Also, mention your concerns to your veterinarian when taking your puppy in for the series of appointments needed with puppy vaccines.
