• At what age does a dog get his rabies shot? Do I need to schedule this or do vets know when to give it

    Hi Karsten,
I recommend that you talk to your local veterinarian about this question. The age for rabies vaccines can depend on the exact vaccine used as well as the local regulations where you live. For most puppies the vaccine is given between 12 and 20 weeks of age. Your vet can let you know the best time for your puppy to receive this vaccine.
