Dr. Stephens (previously Dr. Latifi) was born and raised in St. Louis. At an early age she had a love for both animals and science and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Saint Louis University in 2007 and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2011. Dr. Stephens was drawn to Banfield because of their focus on preventive medicine and joined the practice shortly after graduating in 2011. Dr. Stephens has worked in several Banfield hospitals in the St. Louis area, before settling in her permanent home in Wentzville, MO. Her professional interests are related to general small animal medicine and client education. In her free time, she enjoys reading, weight lifting, traveling and spending time with her family.
