Dr. Seggerman grew up in St. Louis and knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. During high school, she completed a work study program working with the head veterinarian at the St. Louis Zoo. She attended University of Missouri for her undergraduate studies and received an early acceptance to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri. During veterinary school, Dr. Seggerman spent two of her four externships at Banfield and found that she preferred preventive care medicine over private practice and emergency medicine. She spent 2 years at the Banfield in Manchester before joining the St. Charles location in 2012. Her professional passions include surgery, preventive medicine, and creating lasting relationships with clients and patients. She enjoys reading, running, camping, and traveling in her free time and has a dog named Emma, two cats, Storm and Callie, a bearded dragon, Frank, and 5 fish. She got married in 2014 and is expecting her first baby in July 2016.
