Dr. Samantha Starr


Dr. Starr joined the South City Banfield team in 2019. She grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania, where most of her family still resides. Dr. Starr attended Westminster College for her undergraduate education and was a biology major with a music minor. She discovered her passion for veterinary medicine after shadowing at a veterinary clinic during her junior year of college. She attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019. In her free time, Dr. Starr participates in the Affton community band (playing flute) and enjoys reading fantasy novels. She and her husband, David, love snuggling their cuddly cat, Prince, and playing with their spunky cat, Sarge.
