Dr. Diaz joined Banfield in June 2017 after completing his veterinary degree at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in El Paso, Texas with his brother and two sisters. He then attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in integrative biology. Dr. Diaz has a broad range of interests but is most passionate about cardiology, neurology, and opthomology. He prides himself in providing an excellent level of care with each and every pet he sees, as well as forming a lasting relationship with his clients. When out of the hospital, Dr. Diaz enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. He has a 5-year-old son named Orlando, as well as many close friends in the city. In addition, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his 2 dogs, a pit bull mix named Petunia, and an Australian Shepard, Willoughby. He most recently acquired a cat named Asiago, who moved to Texas all the way from a tiny Caribbean island.
