Dr. Yang hails from Michigan, where she was born and raised. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology at Michigan State University, a Master’s of Public Health degree at Texas A&M University, and returned back to Michigan State University to complete her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree. Her special interests include preventive medicine, surgery, infectious diseases, public health, and research. In addition to cats and dogs, Dr. Yang also has interest and experience working with our smaller friends such as rabbits, rats, and mice. When not in the hospital, she enjoys trying new foods, traveling, high intensity workouts, watching movies, catching up on celebrity news, and taking her cockapoo, Jackson, and terrier mix, Milo, out to the lake. She can also speak Chinese (Mandarin).
