Dr. Burdick knew she wanted to be a vet since her family took home their first kitten when she was 5 years old. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. Dr. Burdick has a special interest in exotic animal medicine and loves working with pets and their owners. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes; she grew up with an English mastiff and now has a Chihuahua mix. Dr. Burdick is originally from Connecticut and has lived in New York, Kansas, and Florida, but realized she belongs in New England. She currently lives on the North Shore with her dog, Chico, cat, River (both pictured), and Guinea pig, Pearl. She has been working for Banfield since January 2016.
