Dr. Chencheri has always had a passion for animal care. He received his veterinary graduate degree from Kerala Agricultural University, India in 2001 and a master’s degree in veterinary pathology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute in 2003. After moving to the United States, Dr. Chencheri pursued research in cancer biology at Pennsylvania State University and at the University of Louisville. After obtaining the license to practice veterinary medicine in the North America, he moved to Canada to hone his clinical and surgical skills at Edmonton Humane Society. Dr. Chencheri is highly interested in small animal internal medicine. Dr. Chencheri and his wife Deepa has a daughter Nandana and the family enjoys companionship of their cat Kitty. During his free time Dr. Chencheri reads books and plays cricket and volleyball.
