Kim grew up in Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations at Sam Houston State University. It is during her time in college that she obtained a part-time job at a veterinary hospital and discovered her love of veterinary medicine. This ultimately led to her going back to school later in life to obtain an associate degree in veterinary technology. Kim came to work at Banfield in 2014 as a practice manager after working at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine as a veterinary nurse for over 12 years. Kim’s passionate about promoting pet adoptions through rescue organizations and dispelling breed specific discrimination/legislation. In her free time, she enjoys taking her pups to the park, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering with various non-profit animal rescue organizations. She has 3 dogs (Piggy, Clementine, and Olive), 1 cat (Maverick), and 2 guinea pigs (Poppy and Petunia).
