Heather Padgett, DVM

I attended the University of Delaware, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in biology. After undergraduate school, I obtained my veterinary from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school, I was accepted as a Merck-Merial Research Fellow and performed research relating to the bovine leukemia virus. Since graduating from veterinary school, I have been practicing medicine at Banfield, which includes making diagnoses and treating diseases. I specialize in preventive care, which ensures that all of the pets I treat have an opportunity to live a long and healthy life. Additionally, I perform soft tissue surgery and dental prophylaxis/extractions. Presently, I reside with my husband in Zionsville and we love the community. I enjoy hiking, crafting, and playing/listening to music.
