Dr. Lockman has been with Banfield since July 2016. He is a California native who moved to Minnesota in 2016 to embrace the cold. He received his bachelor's degree in animal science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After undergrad, he moved to Grenada to attend veterinary school at Saint George's University. While in Grenada, Dr. Lockman assisted in research for local snakes, relocated turtles and cared for injured wildlife. He then moved to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University to finish his final year of veterinary school. His passion in veterinary medicine is preventive care, surgery and orthopedics. He has 2 cats, Annandale and Darwin, 2 dogs, Charlie and Leroy, a Dumeril's boa named Nyx, a Sulcata tortoise named Luna and a beta fish named Stanley. In his free time, Dr. Lockman loves to play soccer and video games, snowboard, surf, run and be a stay at home care taker for his girlfriend.
