Bethany entered the veterinary medical field in 2008 through a private small animal practice, as a kennel assistant, near her hometown of Bessemer. She became licensed in 2015 after earning her Associate in Applied Science in veterinary technology. During her professional career, she has expanded her skills and knowledge from concentrating on small animal medicine to working in emergency critical care, large animal care, and laboratory skills. She is active in the veterinary technician community by serving on the executive board of the Alabama Veterinary Technician Association, formally as Secretary to President-Elect and now as President. In addition to her passion for veterinary medicine, Bethany enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and beautiful children, dabbling in amateur painting and photography, as well as caring for her two spirited Siberian Huskies and two typical house cats.
