Dr. Pathania joined our team in June of 2019. He grew up in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh with his dog, Taison. It was there that Dr. Pathania developed a love for animals and a desire to solve their health problems. In 2009, he received both his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and then his master’s in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology from the College of Veterinary Sciences, Palampur. Dr. Pathania spent several years researching mammary tumors in lab animals before returning to his first love, small animal medicine. His research findings have not only been published in textbooks, but also in many top-notch Journals! He enjoys providing preventive care each day to your pets and is very passionate about mass/tumor removal and general surgery. In his free time, Dr. Pathania enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Around the hospital, he is known as “Dr. P” or “Dr. Pat” or sometimes “Master P” (we’re waiting for that one to catch on), but he says you can call him “Raj”!
