Kaitlin grew up in beautiful Cody, Wyoming near Yellowstone National Park. From a very early age she took an interest and love for all critters large and small. As a child, she owned and cared for many animals from a hedgehog, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtle, and tree frogs to numerous hamsters. In 2009, she moved to Colorado and in 2016, graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Science with her associate's degree in applied science and became certified that same year. Today, Kaitlin and her husband, Mateo, have two wonderful dogs, Esperanza and Zeus, as well as a guinea pig name Gopher. On their days off, they can likely be found at the dog park, fishing or outside in nature.
