Natalie joined Banfield in October 2007 as a veterinary assistant at the Arundel Mills location and was promoted to shift lead in March 2015. A year later, she transferred to the Bethesda location where she focused on associate development and training other veterinary assistants. She joined the Calverton team as practice manager in March 2017. Natalie earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from UMBC in 2009 and completed 2.5 years of veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, including an independent study in veterinary ophthalmology studying glaucoma in dogs. She has animal dentistry training making her an advocate for regular dental cleanings and dental radiographs. Natalie became licensed as a veterinary technician in October 2017. She has 2 beagles, Bubba and Dennis, one of which is a certified therapy dog and canine good citizen. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys nail art, yoga and singing on her church praise and worship team.
