Dr. Hafferman's love of animals started young while her father was training police dogs at the Las Vegas Police Department. Following a move to rural Montana, she found herself working at a small animal clinic at 15 years old. After holding all the dogs and cats while being a veterinary technician, she decided to pursue veterinary sciences at Montana State University. In 2012, Dr. Hafferman was accepted into Colorado State University Veterinary School and her dream was finally coming true. Her interests in veterinary school included behavioral, ophthalmology, internal medicine and dermatology. She hopes to one day pursue a career as a veterinary ophthalmologist. When not in the clinic, Dr. Hafferman loves to cook, fish, hike and read books.
