Dr. Dawkins graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and completed her clinical year at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Dawkins moved to Miami in 2018 from New York and started working for Banfield shortly after. Her veterinary interests are soft tissue surgery, weight management, preventative care, public health and occasionally exotics/small mammals. She has interned at Zoo Miami and occasionally spends her off days volunteering there. She has published independent research on Zebu Conservation and Public Health from her travels to Madagascar and hopes to one day return to continue Zebu and Lemur conservation in the far future. She has one cat named Shiloh which she inherited from the islands (St. Kitts) while studying at RUSVM. Her interests outside of veterinary medicine are: music, world traveling, and modeling.
