Dr. Dalton grew up in rural New Mexico surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens and horses. She was raised with a deep respect for animals and the human-animal bond. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of 5 when she used her toy doctor kit on the family pets and told her parents she wanted to be a “dog doctor”.
Dr. Dalton received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico in 2015 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but her special interests include soft tissue surgery, the mystery of internal medicine, dentistry and cardiology.
In her free time, Dr. Dalton enjoys going on adventures with her family and friends, traveling, reading, painting, photography and concerts. She shares her home with her two dogs and two cats.
