The oldest no-kill shelter in Georgia, PAWS Atlanta is driven by the belief that people and pets bring out the best in each other. With a $15,000 Veterinary Medical Equipment Grant and a Flea and Tick grant, PAWS Atlanta has been able to provide much-needed veterinary care to pets in its shelter, increasing their chances of being adopted.

One of these pets is Tubby, a four-year-old cat that arrived at the shelter unhealthy, overweight and in need of some love. With support from the Banfield Foundation, the PAWS team has worked to get Tubby back in tip-top shape and ready to find his forever home.
