My name is Shakira and I am the practice manager at Banfield Pet Hospital Casselberry. I have worked for Banfield for five years. I started as a technician at the Mills location. I worked at Mills for a year and a half before transferring to the Altamonte location as shift lead. I worked at the Altamonte location for three and a half years. I volunteered for years for the Florida Dachshund Rescue. I have had a deep appreciation for animals since I was a very young child. I attended The Ohio State University majoring in molecular genetics before relocating to Florida in 2007. On my days off I enjoy outdoor activities with my husband and two beautiful daughters, and, of course, Disney.
