Dr. Joe Esch is a dedicated veterinarian. He attended The Ohio State University for veterinary school and has specific interests in preventive care, surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology. He grew up in a family of Collie breeders, and has always had a love of dogs. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, his kids, and 5-year-old Collie. Although not a Chicago native, he has become a Chicago sports fan and enjoys watching them as often as he can. He is very passionate about preventive care, and strongly believes that the value of Banfield’s wellness plans lies in their ability to provide quality preventive medical care.
