Banfield is expanding to Puerto Rico and recently opened its first hospital in Guaynabo at San Patricio Plaza on Feb. 1. In addition to providing state-of-the-art preventive veterinary care to the pet owners of Puerto Rico, Banfield is committed to supporting local animal welfare organizations on the island. Banfield commemorated the grand opening by providing free veterinary services to El Faro de los Animales during the week of Jan. 9 and also donated 20 percent of its opening weekend revenue to the organization. We will open our second hospital at Senorial Plaza on March 1, 2014.
