Medical grooming

Dr. Lauren Ahlemeyer grew up in Northern California and attended the University of California, Davis where she obtained her bachelor's in animal science. She then earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Missouri in Columbia. After spending a year at a rural mixed-animal practice, Dr. Ahlemeyer moved to St. Louis to be with her husband and joined Banfield in 2015. About Dr. Lauren Ahlemeyer

Dr. Michelle Griffin graduated from Truman State University in 2002 with her undergraduate degree in agricultural science and biology, completing her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri in 2007. Dr. Griffin joined Banfield in March of 2008 at our Saint Charles location, eventually finding her home at Bridgeton in 2012. Dr. Griffin lives with her dog and enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

She started working for Banfield in 2008 and has been with the company since. She started out as a receptionist and moved up to a veterinary assistant. Kim decided to come work for Banfield in March 2019 after she lost her Bernese Mountain Dog to GDV. She never wanted to feel that helpless again. Kim loves working at Banfield, loves her team, and her clients. She feels like she finally found her work home. When not at work, Kim and her husband like to train and compete in the dog sport of agility, she loves Aussies. Her female Aurora qualified for AKC Agility Nationals and will be competing in them March 2021.
