Dr. Seth Mavrich
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, which means I am a huge sports fan. I especially love my Steelers. I graduated with a degree in Animal Sciences and minor in Spanish from Penn State University. After college, I took a year off from formal education and worked in a 24/7 emergency animal hospital northeast of Pittsburgh. This experience confirmed my desire to become a veterinarian, so I applied to veterinary school. In 2009, I began at Virginia-Maryland regional college of veterinary medicine. During my time there, I was president of Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. When I graduated in 2013, I began my professional career with Banfield Pet Hospital. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, hiking, cooking and traveling. I am currently training for my first marathon, the Marine Corps marathon, which occurs at the end of October.
