    Dr. Jessica Cabrera

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Jessica Cabrera graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2009. After graduation from UFL (go Gators!), she moved up to New York City to complete a rotating small animal medicine and surgical internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists. After a few months in a private practice in the city, Dr. Cabrera joined the Banfield team in 2011. When Dr. Cabrera is not working, she loves spoiling her dog, Emma as well as her Chinchilla, Chinchi. Her boyfriend added a pit bull named Butters to the animal mix. At this point, most of her free time is being spent doing hot yoga, running and hiking with her dogs.

    Dr. Kelley Frake

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Kelley Frake studied animal science at the University of Tennesee before she graduated from their College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She started working for Banfield in June 2010. She loves jogging with her weimeraner, Gunther and cuddling with her black cat named Pig. She is interested in soft tissue surgery, opthalmalogy and dermatology.

    Dr. Deborah Brown

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Deborah Brown received her B.A. in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2000 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her professional interests include dentistry and soft tissue surgery. She has two dogs, a pug mix named Cooper and a Doberman mix named Sadie, and one domestic longhair cat, Zoe. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter, Madison.

    Dr. AJ Ashkan (Dr. A)

    Veterinarian

    Dr. AJ Ashkan is a recent graduate from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Iran and migrated to Virginia in 2003. Dr. A was a dog groomer for a few years while he was studying biological studies at VCSS and Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree. Dr. A has a special interest in dermatology. In his free time he enjoys hiking and being out in nature.

    Dr. Dianne Rodman

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Dianne Rodman graduated from University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been a Veterinarian for Banfield since Spring of 2013. In her spare time she enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors and with her family.
