    Dr. Jessica Cabrera


    Dr. Jessica Cabrera graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2009. After graduation from UFL (go Gators!), she moved up to New York City to complete a rotating small animal medicine and surgical internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists. After a few months in a private practice in the city, Dr. Cabrera joined the Banfield team in 2011. When Dr. Cabrera is not working, she loves spoiling her dog, Emma as well as her Chinchilla, Chinchi. Her boyfriend added a pit bull named Butters to the animal mix.     Dr. Kelley Frake


    Dr. Kelley Frake studied animal science at the University of Tennesee before she graduated from their College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She started working for Banfield in June 2010. She loves jogging with her weimeraner, Gunther and cuddling with her black cat named Pig. She is interested in soft tissue surgery, opthalmalogy and dermatology. More Details >>

    Dr. Deborah Brown


    Dr. Deborah Brown received her B.A. in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 2000 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her professional interests include dentistry and soft tissue surgery. She has two dogs, a pug mix named Cooper and a Doberman mix named Sadie, and one domestic longhair cat, Zoe.     Dr. AJ Ashkan (Dr. A)


    Dr. AJ Ashkan is a recent graduate from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Iran and migrated to Virginia in 2003. Dr. A was a dog groomer for a few years while he was studying biological studies at VCSS and Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree. Dr. A has a special interest in dermatology.     Practice Manager

    Karina joined the Banfield family in 2008 at the Chantilly, VA location as a Veterinary Assistant. She became a Practice Manager in 2010 and has worked in several area Banfield's since then. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Mary Washington. Karina currently lives in Reston with her boyfriend and their dog, Bernie. Her professional interests include process improvement, on-boarding, and the training and development of associates.
