Dr. Jennifer Bussen
Dr. Bussen is originally from Overland Park. She earned her veterinary degree from Kansas State University in 2013. Right out of school she worked in a rural mixed animal practice, but then decided to focus just on small animal medicine and surgery, so she moved back home to Overland Park and began working for Banfield in 2014. Dr. Bussen's main veterinary interests are preventive care, wound management, and radiology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and two cats, Smelly Cat and Nirget. Her favorite activities include just about anything outdoors, such as hiking, camping, and softball to name a few, as well as trying new recipes and playing the piano.
