    Dr. Steve Doerr

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Doerr was born and raised on a farm in West Tennessee. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from California Polytechnic State University. After working as a veterinary assistant for 2 years he attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and then spent 16 years in small animal private practice in Northern California. Understanding the importance of preventive care and a desire to move back to his home state of Tennessee, Dr. Doerr joined Banfield in January 2015. Dr. Doerr resides in the Nashville area with his wife and 2 daughters. They share their home with a Emmy, an 11-year-old border terrier, Buster, a 2-year-old Boston terrier rescue, Vinnie, a 15-year-old Siamese rescue. and Slippers, a 3-year-old tabby. More Details >>

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Helen Reaves is a 2008 graduate from the University of Tennessee. After a three year start in Arizona, including one year as an emergency medicine intern, Dr. Reaves returned home to her Tennessee roots. She likes to spend her free time with her husband of 6 years, her 18 month toddler, and their feline, Lucy. She is also on a life-long quest to visit every zoo in the United States. More Details >>

    Dr. Erica Fenton

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Erica Fenton received her Bachelor of Science degree from Davidson College in North Carolina and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Small Animal Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency at Carolina Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Fenton’s medical interests include internal medicine, geriatric care, and pain management. Her interests outside of work include live music, wine tasting, discovering new restaurants and travel.
