Dr. Erika Gallisdorfer
Dr. Gallisdorfer is originally from Lancaster. She joined the Lancaster team in October 2013 after spending four and a half years at Banfield in Denver, Colorado and one year in Towson, MD. She attended West Virginia University and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. She then went to the University of Tennessee and completed her DVM in 2008. Her professional interests include dermatology, dentistry, behavior, and geriatric care. Dr. Gallisdorfer married her college sweetheart, Matt, in 2005 and they have two sons, Wesley and Oliver. She has a German Wirehair pointer named Isis. She is an avid college football fan, enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer, biking, camping, kayaking, traveling and scuba diving.
Dr. Christina Polito
Chief of Staff
Dr. Polito is originally from Lancaster and joined the Lancaster team in September 2008 and became the Chief of Staff in 2014. She attended The Royal Veterinary College at the University of England and graduated in 2008. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery. Dr Polito has (three) 3 legged pit bulls named Troika, Roxy and Buddy, two ratas, and two tarantulas. She enjoys reading, bikram yoga and being outdoors.
Dr. Alyssa Savage
Dr. Savage joined the Lancaster team in July 2014 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College with a degree in veterinary medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bryn Mawr College in 2001. Her professional interests include delivering great preventive care and helping pets maintain a healthy weight, keeping their teeth sparkling clean, and staying free from infectious diseases. She has a 13-year-old Chihuahua mix named Tuna (she's awesome!). Dr. Savage enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family!
Beth Vanhorn, CVT
Beth is originally from Selinsgrove, PA and joined the Lancaster team in January 2012 after working as a Certified Veterinary Technican since 1996. She graduated from Wilson College in 1995 with an associate's degree in veterinary medical technology and became a certified technician in 1996. Beth has two daughters, Avery and Emma. She breeds and shows Quarter Horses. She enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her family, and showing her horse in western pleasure and trail events.
