I am dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their people, and I do this with a team approach and a focus on preventive care. I enjoy getting to know some pretty amazing people and pets and have fun while doing my job. My passions are pets and their families. I have a Bachelors of Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My native language is Spanish, and my interests include dentistry, ultrasound, eye surgery, soft tissue surgery and critical and emergency care. I love my pet, "Pemex." She is a female dog who is very loyal, kind and sweet. She also speaks Spanish. More Details>>

I enjoy giving back to the community through the Banfield Charitable Trust and other projects. In the past, I have hosted/co-chaired charitable runs and swam across the English Channel for pets and owners in need. My 6 year old Scottish-Terrier, Hank, has appeared numerous times in the media for preventive care education. We have hosted summer-time FutureVet programs at the Houston Children’s Museum. I also enjoy travelling, running marathons and competing in triathlons, playing the violin, painting, and taking private pilot’s license flying lessons. I received my B.S. in Animal Science at Texas A&M University and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University Grenada. Organizations that I have been a part of include American Veterinary Medical Association, Phi Zeta International Veterinary Honor Society, and Houston Grand Opera HGO Society. My interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, preventive care and community outreach. More Details>>

Treating the client and patient the way I would want to have my pet cared for is the basis of my practice philosophy. Educating the pet owner so they can make informed decisions about their pet’s health care means being knowledgeable about current medical advancements, listening to pet owners concerns and working in partnership to keep their pet with them for life. I have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, and organizations I have been involved in include the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. My interests are ultrasound, wound management, soft tissue surgery, zoonotic disease/parasite control, and pain management. I have three dogs named Bear, Chloe and Ditto, two cats named Chicken and Waffles and a beta fish named Rack. My hobbies include spending time with family, travel, museum tours, and church projects.
