    Dr. Kelly Schmidtbauer

    Chief of Staff

    After graduating from Western University of Health Sciences in 2009, Dr. Schmidtbauer joined a private mixed animal practice where she enjoyed working on all kinds of different species. In 2012, she moved to Portland and has had the pleasure of working for Banfield ever since. At Glisan Street Station, she has a great time working with a fantastic and caring team while performing quality medicine. Dr. Schmidtbauer sees all critters, from cats and dogs to small pocket pets and reptiles, and she has a special passion for soft tissue surgery. More Details >>

    Dr. Crystal Weller

    Associate Veterinarian

    Originally from Missouri, Dr. Weller has lived in Oregon for over a decade and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University in 2011. After graduation, she worked with a small animal practice in rural Northern California. While in California, she quickly gained experience in emergency veterinary medicine, soft tissue surgery and using ultrasonography. She moved back to Portland in early 2014 with her family and has been working at Banfield since that time. Dr. Weller enjoys providing excellent medical care for the pets and clients at Glisan Street Station, and she has special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and geriatric care.     Dr. Aimee Reed

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Reed is a new addition to the Banfield family as of 2015. She is trained in all species and enjoys providing healthcare to all furried, feathered, and finned friends. Dr. Reed has additional training in biomedical research with specialty in veterinary microbiology and viruses. She has three cats, a chinchilla, a horse, and fish, and enjoys the beautiful outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. More Details >>

    Dr. Stephanie Haupt

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Stephanie Haupt graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2016. Her interests include small animal internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and rehabilitation. Dr. Haupt currently sees dogs and cats, but hopes to begin seeing pockets pets in the near future. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, spending time with her dog, Charlie, and exploring Portland. More Details >>

    Practice Manager

    Kay comes from a long background of managerial experience and joined the Banfield Glisan team in 2015. She takes a special interest in the well-being of all associates and clients. Kay's goal is to ensure the Glisan team works efficiently and effectively to see all patients requiring care and to be there for their owners. She enjoys learning about the ins and outs of the veterinary world and LOVES cuddling with all the cute pets!     Katie Hogue

    Shift Lead

    Katie moved to Portland shortly after earning her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of Idaho. She also has a certificate in basic dog obedience training and behavior. Katie has always loved animal care and behavior, and was very excited to start working at Banfield. She has come to think of this hospital as her second home and has established a familiar relationship with many clients and their lovable pets. Katie is currently attending school part-time to become a Certified Veterinary Technician and is progressing through the program easily due to her experience and support from hospital leaders. She intends to stay with Banfield and continue her career in the ever exciting and changing veterinary medicine field. The best part of her job is seeing pets recover from illnesses, either chronic or acute, and keeping them calm in scary and stressful situations. More Details >>
