    Dr. Cindy Hand


    Dr. Cindy Hand is a native to Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Combining her love of travel and animals, she then attended Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. After graduating in 2005 with her doctorate in veterinary medicine, Dr. Hand moved back to Colorado where she completed an internship at the Animal Hospital Specialty Center. She joined our Banfield team in 2009. Dr. Hand lives in Denver with her four French bulldogs, Rupert, Opie, Jilly, and Gilbert.     Dr. Debbie Bodmer


    After careers in microbial genetics and mortgage banking, Dr. Debbie Bodmer returned to her original love of animals and received her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 2012. She has been a Banfield veterinarian since 2013, and enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from small mammals to large dogs. She strives to make the clinic a lower stress environment for feline patients in particular. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, hiking, and traveling to visit her far-flung family.     Dr. Jenna Torgerson


    Although Dr. Jenna Torgerson hails from Wisconsin, she spent most of her formative years in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in biology in 2008. Soon after, Dr. Torgerson attended and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from St. George's University in Grenada. In 2012 she finished her clinical training at the University of Florida and joined the Banfield team. Dr. Torgerson has a great dane named Thor and a Chihuahua named Sam. She is an avid kickball and volleyball enthusiast, playing at least twice a week! She also volunteers in junior showmanship and acts as a match judge.     Dr. Emery Ferguson


    Dr. Ferguson graduated from Colorado State University before obtaining her doctor of veterinary medicine from University of Minnesota in 2015. Although she enjoyed her time in Minnesota, her heart longed to be back in Colorado. She came back to the Mile-High City to begin working for Banfield in July 2015. Dr. Ferguson’s pets include a collie mix named Bronco, her two cats, Steed and Bagheera, and an 8-year-old tiger salamander. As a veterinarian, Dr. Ferguson enjoys getting to know her clients and educating through preventive medicine. She also has a special interest for pocket pets and exotics. Outside of work, Dr. Ferguson enjoys hiking with her dog and husband. She looks forward to snowboarding in the winter, traveling, camping and spending time with her family whenever she gets the chance! More Details >>

    Dr. Kimberly Jacobs


    Dr. Kimberly Jacobs is originally from upstate New York, born and raised in Webster. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and psychology in 1997. Dr. Jacobs earned her doctor of veterinary medicine at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Shortly after graduation, she packed up the truck, moved to Colorado and joined our Banfield team. Dr. Jacobs enjoys all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. She is an avid runner and has participated in several marathons including the Boston Marathon and the Leadville 100 trail race. She shares her home with her yellow Amazon parrot, Elling.
